Hi, please be gentle, it's the first time I've been brave enough to write here, I've been lurking for about 2 weeks and think you lot are fabulous! :) Have just found a couple of receipts in T's trolleys so am just going to try the JTD, was sooo excited when I found them - DH thinks I've completely lost the plot haha.

Have just bought some Comfort blue skies (42 washes) in T for £1.65, the other colours were all £3.30 - not sure if that's enough of a bargain for you all?
its not a rule that you have to find a bargain to post. its enough that you have come out of lurkdom. welcome aboard. kettle is in the corner, biscuits are in the cupboard. coffee for me milk 1 sugar. ta:rotfl:

I have never got anything like this before I think a few staff didn't turn up due to the snow, its such a small T's so not many spare staff and the carpark looked like it had not been cleared all day as all the shelters were rammed with trolleys I did a lap of the carpark before I went in, then another when I came out, and I don't give a flying fig if anyone saw me and if they did what they thought :D

well I entered my first few wombled receipts into T's pricecheck site......didnt get anything back BUT I know you lot put any old email address and wondered how you access the vouchers/checking page without access to the original email? Is there a web page I can put in favourites to enable me to go back in?

Yes I am progressing from glitches to wombling! at least until a good glitch comes along! PLEASE let it be soon!

Fudge-cake - The pics of your doggies are just too cute
I’m sorry that you have had such bad experiences at your local hospital, unfortunately it is all to common nowadays for hospitals to pass people by and not look after everyone as they should, but yours sounds particularly horrendous :(
Purdita - I hope your headaches start to ease soon, sending you :grouphug:'s and I just love the pic of Purdy in her mac, I think the look on her face says it all :)
MKS - So pleased that your DGD is back home and starting to get better
Coolnanna, Pinkdeedee, Forestroxydog, 028majmac, Billygoat31, Dazkelshan, Mariapb and Freebiefinder - :hello:
and welcome to the thread, I hope you will all stick around and join in the fun
    Hennypenny79 - Loving the snow family :T
Sunshinestar101 - Nice to see you posting, the pics of your dogs were adorable, sooo cute. I hope you and Phoebe are doing well?
Savingin2012 - well done :T on your first dtd and congrats for being brave and sticking with it
Debsjc and westvleteren - Well done :Ton your weight losses, I’m so envious of your willpower
Czerny - :jSo pleased your OH’s new job tests went well and huge :T well done on passing your exams
Bookworm63 - Going to the docs is the first step. I hope you manage to get things sorted out for you soon and start to feel a bit better, sending you big :grouphug:'s.
Laura cello - Great whoopsie haul and how kind of you to drive the lady home, so she could share in the bargains, karma will thank you for this one day ;)
Fourp - Happy birthday _party_, hope you are enjoying the Rugby and a nice relaxing drink
Artha - Very interesting post about the aussie overcharge policies, made fascinating reading
Lovingtescosforever - Sorry to hear about your mum relapsing :(, lots of :heart2: and :grouphug:'s to you both, I do hope she starts to feel a bit better soon.
Lindos90 - I hope you are feeling a bit better soon, :grouphug:'s. Definitely send OH on a t’s run, you need lovely soft tissues to help make you feel better and if your eyes are all sore and gunky, you won’t be able to read the thread
Motherbear - Sorry to hear you have been feeling down recently :(, sending you lots of :heart2: and :grouphug:'s, is there anything we can do to cheer you up?
Apennysaved - That’s an awful experience you had at t’s and definitely worthy of a complaint . I hope that the staff at that store, get a stern telling off :naughty: and a reminder of how they should treat their customers
Bensonsmum - I’m glad your FIL will be coming home to you soon :). When my dad was due to be released from hospital last time, my mum contacted social services and they sent her a carer’s assessment pack. They said that once she completed it and sent it back, they would be able to see what help they could offer her, but also enclosed was a leaflet about a local group that could supply assistance for about £4.50 an hour (this was not means tested). My mum had problems filling in the carer’s assessment, but when my dad was taken into the ICU, the sisters on that ward were incredibly helpful. They told her that each hospital ward has a social worker assigned to it and they would be able to help.
They also contacted someone on her behalf to assist her with filling in the carers assessment and explained that even when there is no help available on a long term basis, there is an emergency service available to assist when people are discharged from hospital back into the home.
It’s definitely worth talking with the ward sister, to see if there is any help available or a social worker assigned to your FIL’s ward, before he is discharged.
Sending you, OH and FIL lots of love and hugs
Tiny shoes - Sorry to hear your mum has been feeling so anxious and unwell :(, lots of :heart2: and :grouphug:'s to you both and I hope she managed to enjoy a nice birthday in the end.
3dogs - Well done to you and mr3dogs on your weight loss :T.
I’m so sad about the way the carers treat your mam in the home she is in :(, this is unfortunately all to common nowadays, but I am glad that she seems to be in good spirits. It makes such a difference to have you and your siblings being able to keep an eye on her :A and what is going on and I’m glad that there is at least one carer that keeps an eye on her too when you can’t be there and treats her well.
Snap-ant - I was so pleased to hear that your dad was home and adjusting, but now sad that he’s back in hospital with DVT :(. I do hope he starts to get better soon and he can get back home, where he is more comfortable. It will take lots of time for a fracture to heal, so he needs to make sure that he gets lots of rest.
I do understand how your mum feels, about wanting you to stay put at home, but you need to be with your dad if that’s where you want to be. Perhaps you and your sis? could book a cheap travel lodge or something, where you could all stay in the same room to save costs and then your mum won’t have to worry about cooking etc.
At least she is allowing some help from her friends, which is good.
The glass lift sounds really fab by the way :D
Meerkatsmimm - Congrats on the safe arrival of baby meerkat :j. The picture of both meerkats is just beautiful.
I saw this book in t’s the other day and it reminded me of you and your little Meerkats
