Snow now appears to be easing here in the North East but watching it through the french windows from my chair in front of the roaring fire. Pity I don't have any crumpets for afternoon tea:( A load of gannets descended yesterday and scoffed the lot:rotfl::rotfl:

It's chucking it down with rain here....so haven't ventured very far.
Made some banana buns which were so nice...I made another lot with some chocolate chunks in too.
OH and I watched the thriller The Ghost which we recorded at the weekend and I'm now going to make dinner with my £2 fillet steak, 12p mushrooms, 50p McCains chips, 29p fresh Diane Sauce for the steak. some onion rings and some cheap Aunt Bessie peas.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Not sure of exact rules, but I think you need to check the Working Time Regulations - if you google it, it should bring you up the Government/HSE website with details.

Rest breaks - a break during your working day
As an adult worker (over 18), you will normally have the right to a 20 minute rest break if you are expected to work more than six hours at a stretch.

Which is what I have but working from home I can stick the kettle on grab a sarnie etc as needed plus I am here if I'm expecting a delivery no need to take a day off waiting :)
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

Am going to make the Mary Berry cup cakes tomorrow as Fourp's birthday. This time I'm not putting in the mixed spice & using lemon not orange ...........watch this space :o

Dad is back in hospital as he now has a DVT :(
My Mum is adament my sisters & I cannot come down. She sees it as more work for herself - beds changing, cooking, etc  She said 'when' she wants us she will say :( I can understand her thinking in a way, as she has to 'cater' . No one is allowed to cook as she has planned menus etc.
She did all the cooking for their Golden Wedding Anniversary as no one could do it better - she is brilliant but sometimes you could shake her ♥
Luckily she has let her friends help :)
If it doesn't snow I will go down & see Dad in hospital. Could do it in a day - 5 hours from here to Guildford. Visiting time starts at 2pm. Need to be travelling back by 5pm at latest to get the last train back here. Plans are forming... ;) She can't stop me doing this :D

    ♥ Bensons Mum & Flo Flo & MKS & 3Dogs & Tinyshoes ♥

That's what I love about the Elite 11, you all can offer something in the way of help to us All :T
Long may we 'sale' in here ;)

That poor dog - so pleased to see the after photos :) I like to watch the US Animal Cops on Animal Planet. Some of the stories are ghastly but it's real life :(

New item find..... T's Finest Hand Cooked Crisps Mince Pie Flavour 150gs SEL £1.59 are 39p BAR 3660 (large bag)
Admittedly an acquired taste as they are sweet not savoury :rotfl:
Foup has taken a pic so hopefully will post later after the Rugby has finished.
The Spiderman thingies scanned at £10.97 :( Uno scanned at £5.97 & still no SEL on the Bob set :(

I adore Mrs Brown's boys :j & discovered the cast are mostly related. Buster is his real life son, Maria his daughter, Winnie his sister, Cathy is his wife, Buster is married Betty :D

Another programme we're enjoying at the moment is Stella with Ruth Jones. Daddy is brilliant & lovely Scouser Sean :D

Wondered where fourp was hiding. :)
