new super league season (17) starts tonight SS1 :j

fav sport, proper sportsmen, no f@nny footballs

    good for trading :D

should i shut up about it already ?

Frequent - would you consider taking on an apprentice? or starting a separate thread for those that would like to learn? or adding a beginners guide here? or pointing us in the direction of somewhere good to start?

I'm not too thick and have done a bit of gambling in my time so not totally unfamiliar with the likes of Betfair. I would love to have a piece of the action but am not sure where to start.

    Thank you.

  • As for virgin have you got V+ if so call them and say you want a Vito box for free or threaten to leave, it works as the deal atm is for new customers only but they can do it "if pushed for existing aswell"
This might work even if you don't have a V+box hth
here is the link for new customers
    http://shop.virginmedia.com/digital-tv/special_offer.html

I can confirm this is worth doing.

I rang them recently and had a whinge - new customers treated better than me etc. - and they upgraded me from V+ to TiVo with no installation or extra monthly charges and knocked about £3 off my monthly bill as an additional thank you for my loyalty.

I'm really liking TiVo but wouldn't have been able to justify the cost if I'd had to pay.

Quick question, those of you who signed up the Which? trial, have you had your John Lewis vouchers yet?

No but I have been charged the £1 and have received the e-mail confirming the cancellation of my direct debit so can only assume it is all working OK.

Free no min spend £5 voucher from Ann Summers. Usually too expensive but may be worth a look with £5 off
