Thanks. Will do, she might make it to become one of your junior doctors. ;)

Don't know if you ever read she did come 3rd out of the year in her written mock so really hope she has done as well in the real thing.

There were 3 tests, I know one bit they had to do different stations, one was setting up and looking at something under the microscope. She had to start again as she could not see anything. But I said I'm sure that will be fine as she was still just within the time and they did not have to identify anything specifically. She also said she forgot to thank a patient at another station. But the actual written exam she was just pleased to get over and thought it had gone ok. Can't remember what other bit was, might have been multiple choice? So just the waiting game now!

Hope the stethoscope she got for xmas will get good use. She made me laugh though as did not know which colour to choose. :D

I have chocolate and sweets in the house....not really trying to lose weight. However, I'm finding that because I have the stuff I don't actually 'want' it anymore. If that makes sense. There are Mingles, mini eggs and little miss sweets in various places around the house.....and I'm ignoring them entirely!

    Am I seriously strange?

this is true , we've had choccies in the house for weeks/months and I (we) don't seem to be tempted by them , if it was 1 bar in the cupboard it would have been munched by now ..

aversion therapy seems to work ;)

Sorry no mars bars Karlie, have some smarties left and lots of Halloween sweets. Might even throw in a bottle of Cono Sur if you like red. :rotfl:

I've just eaten one for my lunch and can honestly say that it has been the least satisfying meal I've eaten in a long time:( Give me homemade veggi soup and a bit of crusty wholemeal anyday if I want to stay on a satisfying diet:)

home made soup with plenty of veggies and that bread , sounds good to me artha .
must admit i love my mams lentil soup with grated veg , lots of veg .
