    Brill!

Well next time play with the recipe.

You can put loads of syrup in the bottom of your dish before you add the cake mix for a syrup sponge.

Instead of the 2oz SR flour, you could try .5oz cocoa & 1.5oz SR flour for chic cake.

You could add the zest of a lemon to the sponge then add the juice of the lemon to the warm cake after generously sprinkling the top with sugar etc.

Theres pretty much no limit to how you can play with this.

How about adding a bit of desiccated coconut to the mix then spreading the warm cake with jam and another dusting of coconut for a retro school put coconut sponge?

    go wild and have fun!!!

Your sponge recipe sounds perfect for Lamingtons.....dip sponge in chocolate icing then roll in coconut.....my FIL, being Australian, introduced me to them and they are to die for...am going to use your sponge to make some...:D:D:D

Contract or sub contract, getting paid is the issue.

Driving mum to hospital appointment is admiral quality.

Mum refuses to drive to anywhere other than ASDA, my flat, and Makro in Aberdeen. Anywhere else and I'm chauffeur.

:rotfl::rotfl: I've always got my sofa to hide behind.

Never heard of her/him, who are they?

Yey....Virgin have fixed my internet connection (by ripping out my existing equipment that I paid for...cheeky doodahs)....only for D2 (not DD2 today!) to rip all the keys off the laptop keyboard while I was seeing the bloke out the door! Only had the keyboard replaced at Xmas....:(

so apologies in advance for any dodgy spelling or missing letters...managed to clip the keys back on but not properly.....H & B and space bar are really bad...and shift key is a bit dodgy!!

been for a quick trip to A's ...got the pampers wipes (9pack) for £5...limited stock so bulk buy if you can!! Also found the Aquafresh My 1st Tooth kits for £1....includes full size milk teeth toothpaste and toothbrush so good value......and found a whole clipstrip of 2p Cadbury Xmas decoration chocolates!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

We don't 'sell' anything here. We have an honesty box for tax and licensing reasons. ;)
