Hope this is ok to post...a story about Grandpa that made me chuckle...
A man went to visit his grandparents, and he noticed his grandfather sitting on the porch in the rocking chair wearing only a shirt, with nothing on from the waist down.
'Grandpa, what are you doing? Your weenie is out in the wind for everyone to see!' he exclaimed.
The old man looked off in the distance without answering.
'Grandpa, what are you doing sitting out here with nothing on below the waist?' he asked again.
The old man slowly looked at him and said,
'Well....last week I sat out here with no shirt on and I got a stiff neck..... This is your grandma's idea.

finally all his application forms for the new job have been accepted and today everything was confirmed! He's going for his training next week and starts straight away following Monday :j So I told him to go to his boss and tell him he's leaving NOW!He did that and it must have been hilarious with his half-English :eek: his boss tried to tell him about the notice and things but bf just said "anyway I'm not changing my mind and I'm leaving straight away!" :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh well, ghe HATED this job and is now soo happy
And I know exactly how he feels, I got drunk after just one glass of wine when I got my job!
(btw he drunk a beer, half a bottle of wine and now we're working on port
)
Been to T to get some Krispy Kremes for his GOOD old manager(not the one he gave his 'notice' to today :rotfl:) and also found 4 bags of the cadburys tree decs for 1p and got lots of chocs and cookies too(his manager has a VERY sweet tooth :rotfl:) so tomorrow he's going to give the written notice and spoil them with some doughnuts and chocolate

Yes!!!:T:j
the only way I can work it out is that it takes £1.99 off twice. Once for the free shot and second for the 3 for 2?
or the shot is free so you don't get charged for it. 0.79+0.79-1.99-0.79=-£1.20??
EDIT: Tested it out. Just leaves you with 79p to pay. Not £1.20 in credit.
Yes, I think you are right, having looked at my receipt, I didn't get the cheap vits but got Wellman effervescent tabs @ £2.00 RTC, I got one of these free on 3 for 2 and a further £1.99 Off my bll, so paid just £2.01 for 2 x Wellman effervescent tabs and 1 shot.
I wrongly assumed you would get 1.99 off all bills but it would work at the shot free and the cheapest vit free if your vit are sub £1.99 or 1 vit free plus £1.99 off bill if your Vits are more than £1.99, IYSWIM,
Still not a bad deal tho!!:D"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin
