Can you load a hyperlink image into word?

I don't know if this is possible or not and excuse my awkward explanation
Basically I have a logo that I need to put on various pages in a Word document. Problem is it is gong to be in different positions so I can't use it as a watermark.
I know the logo might change, so rather than physically deleting and replacing each picture every time is there a way that I can put the logo in a central location and create some sort of link to where I want it to appear.
I tried uploading the logo to Photobucket (knowing I can replace this at a later date) and inserting a hyperlink but this just put in the pathname and not the actual image.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Have you tried inserting an image into word?
Insert picture from file.0 -
Not really a web expert here, but I think the only way would be to save the word document as a HTML page. The place where the picture is stored, would have to be the same throughout. If at first you don't succeed. Remove all evidence that you have tried

I can insert the image from file no problem but I will need to do this about thirty times which would normally be fine but when it gets changed I would need to do each one again.
I hoped there would be a way to insert the image somewhere once and when I changed it it would automatically change the rest.0 -
Insert - Object - Create From File - tick Link to file and Browse to the file to insert it.0

I have the image stored on my pc as a jpeg and also uploaded to Photobucket but it won't let me insert any hyperlink as an image - only puts in the text.
I tried saving the word document as a html page and it still didn't work.0 -

I thought this might have worked but unfortunately it inserted it as a jpeg icon and not the image itself.
I tried ticking and unticking the "Display as Icon" box but neither worked0
