hello
Wonder if anyone has a clue about this before i call out a plumber...
Our combi boiler (Alpha 240e) is having a problem: whenever the heating first comes on from cold it is absolutely fine, but when it fires up to maintain heat the flame keeps going out within a second and then it tries again. Sometimes after a lot of attempts it will stay lit, others it will just keep cutting off and reigniting until the temperature is reached.
It's very annoying having to listen to this lol
any help much appreciated...

This could be a few different things. You would have to be listing a lot more detail than you have put on here to be getting a blind diagnosis. Every boiler I've ever fitted has a fault diagnosis section in the installation instructions. Try looking there first.0
