How long should you wait before tiling over new plaster?

Options
Thanks for any advice, it's a bathroom that'll need replastering as chunks have fallen off when the old tiles have been removed. I am then planning on having large wall tiles put up, (are these recommended?) wouldn't like one falling on someone's head!

What is the recommended timescale between plastering and new tiling?
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

What is the wall substrate, Plaster may well be on the limit for large porcelain or stone tiles

Cement render or even a few cheap bags of rapid set tile adhesive will allow you to tiles sooner than waiting for plaster to fully dry out
