you can reopen closed cases with the customer centre or just open a new one if not.
you can contact them via twitter or live chat
ive had problems, but they have all been sorted, ive used for years and will continue to do so.
my last order was over £200 not $6, but they will deal with orders the same way.
Took a long time to receive it, i raised an issue, and each time they responded I got an email, asking for my response, this was all tracked on the issue on the system too, so not sure why you dont get email updates.
Maybe just need to ask for some one else to address the issue.
they received 10000s of orders globally each year its only natural they will have hiccups and they are no amazon or computer processed order dispatch system...approx 100 office workers and about 200 warehouse workers
ill see if i can dig out the photos from a person who went on an internship there, may explain why they are at times a little haphazard
EDIT:

I ordered via airmail on sunday with a tracking number that keeps saying too many enquiries.
Anyone want to estimate when it could come at the earliest?0 -

I've never had a dealextreme order arrive in under 3 weeks, 5 is common, basically don't hold your breath! Remember they do not hold most items as stock, but go round the various manufacturers/suppliers periodically to pick up what was ordered, which is why things are always slow!0 -
Is that right  , they said the order was dispatched already on the actual site ?
I figured normal delivery was surface mail or shipped. But it says registered airmail and I paid the extra for that so figured it might be a bit faster.
If its just standard practise that they lie and the tracking number is also a lie then ok, Im not surprised exactly considering the price. I just like to know whats par for the course and obviously I did want it to turn up some day0 -

Ahh my bad - well if they say they dispatched it, you're in the hands of the courier service. Still allow yourself a while though - maybe 10 days - and remember large items *may* come with a bill for duty and VAT from customs (although DX do routinely undervalue things for tax purposes), which can sometimes slow things up a little.0
