tax credits as an income?

when applying for new credit such as a loan or mortgage will they take into consideration tax credits as an income or household income? can anyone help? thankyou

But those Tax Credits are to maintain an average level of living? what would happen if you had to spend them on loan repayments in the future?
Or you don;t actually need the Tax Credit Income?

I doubt it as entitlement to benefit can change at any time. The rules are always being changed. It's also likely to make you look like a bad risk.0

Perhaps you could ask on the housing board as there was a thread on that recently. From memory, I believe that some mortgage lenders did used to include certain benefits, including TCs, but that is now much less common. Ask over there if you can't find the thread.0

I think it depends on the lender. When I first took a mortgage, they were taken into account, but three years later, when I separated from my partner and applied on my own, the new lender wouldn't consider them. That was a few years back though.0
