Advice on parking ticket, please

I had wondered at the time whether or not to speak to the manager of the shop I'd visited to let them know that I felt they should have signs up as you enter the shop alerting you to the time restriction, but thought he/she might think I was a bit OTT. Think I might do so now.
Like everyone, the only "words" they understand are open the till and give me my money back.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Got a parking ticket from UKPC because i didn't display a ticket in my car, ticket machine was out of order when i went into lidl Aylesbury but, spookily working when i cam out 15 mins later. I have appealed and been told on this occasion the charge stands as " i should have been displaying a ticket". I have appealed and asked them to look at my original appeal which states that the ticket machine was out of order, i have also found a witness. Any advice? The website tells me i could face a penalty of £300+ if i don't pay up.
LIDL send out the box boy from the warehouse to issue these tickets with kits bought from UKPC.
IGNORE THEM
They can not sue for what they have not asked for and if the machine did not work, they did not ask !
All you will get by contacting them is more demands for money you dont owe them.

Take a look at the rest of this thread, Shout, and at the thousands of similar threads on this forum. They all say the same thing:
1. Appeals to parking companies are a futile waste of time, don't bother;
2. Their demands are completely unenforceable in law so why waste your time even approaching them;
3. The best way of getting rid of them (permanently) is to ignore ALL letters sent to you from here on. Read my post above all their threats are meaningless garbage; though they try their best to make them convincing!
The "out of order" ticket machine is one of their favourite scams. They turn the machine off so as to trap their victims, some of whom are mug enough to pay up.
Not you, though, Shout, I hope?

Do not ignore a private parking ticket - from 2013 onwards things changed in England/Wales. If yours is Parking Eye then they are suing people and so are some other PPCs.
You must appeal and with current forum advice, you will win at popla - we win 100% of appeals in 2014.
Please click to page one of the forum, get off this old thread. See my signature below for where to click to read current advice. Please read the NEWBIES thread at the top of this very forum.
Did I say STOP reading this ancient thread, NOW??!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Following on from my first post on this thread:
A couple of weeks' ago, had the "final" reminder saying that if I didn't pay up the matter would be taken to court.
Today, had a letter from a company of Debt Collectors, advising that they have been given instruction to "pursue the matter to conclusion". The last paragraph of the letter states:
"it is in your best interests to get in touch with us so we can resolve this debt without recourse to further action. If we do not hear from you within 10 days, we will pass the matter on to our solicitors (name given), who will review your case for potential legal action.
We are fully aware of anecdotal information via the internet and on various websites and you may feel this guidance is worth following. We strongly urge you to seek independant advice rather than rely on these opinions, and we would respectively suggest that you refer to the Civil Procedure part 31*, and more specifically parts 31.16 and 31.17"
What do I do now, please?0 -
Sounds like Roxburghe to me... a firm who only ever went to Court once in their existence, and that was to unsuccessfully defend a claim made against them for harassment...
so it should come as no surprise for you to learn that this is just another stage of the same scamming process...
they obviously realise that the supply of mugs prepared to swallow their tripe is dwindling thanks to forums like ours...
so they have come out with even more tripe: The challenge to seek "independent advice" is a bluff. That is the LAST thing they actually want you to do, because, if you did, any Solicitor would confirm that the civil procedure rules they quote have NO APPLICATION in any court case they might bring. (Or rather, WON'T bring- refer to my first paragraph.)
Standard bull from a pathetic company. Take no notice at all- check out the stickies at the top to confirm it's just their latest form of drivel.
Now prepare yourself for GRAHAM WHITE- the worst solicitor in England. That's because it's not a firm of solicitors at all, just Roxburghe trying another sneaky trick to try and fool you- check out the return address, same as Roxburghe...
sorry, forgot your question: what do you do? Nothing. Ignore the pathetic scamsters like you have so far. Once you have had Graham White the pretence will end and they give up.0 -
Many thanks to you, give them FA.0

No problem! Just remember: Excel........... don't.0

These companies impersonate authority, they change the impersonations to other types of authority to try and scare you it has gone to some big shot legal experts who will have you in court.
All bull, windbaggery and codswallop.
If they could they certainly would not mess about wasting time, they would get on with it at the first opportunity.
Why do you think they dont.....Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
