Garden pond project

Last year I mentioned we are building a pond, well its coming on.

For anyone interesting in seeing some pictures check them here: http://www.alternativeeden.com/2012/01/big-pond-build-so-far.html

The final pond will be 8,000 gallons so a bit on the big side. So far we have had loads of things from ebay and freecycle and done all the work ourselves, so although its cost a few quid, its still been reasonably economical.

Hope you like seeing our hard work!

    Pond?

All I see is someone building an Olympic swimming pool. :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Well we did not want this cold weather. Was not able to get much done at all, so went off to Kew this weekend to look at the Orchid display (on until early March).

Hopefully will be able to carry on next weekend - have a few indoor jobs we can do on the filtration house.

I take it your intention is to swim with the fish too? That's one big 'pond'. :D

Can't wait to see the finished article.

Could you put in some overtime please? :D
