Iva review Payment Doubled

Hi there,

Advice needed we have had our Iva in place for a year no problems until now.
Our review has just been done and we have been told that we now have to pay £494 instead of £240!per month this is double what we pay.

But our pay has not increased by double, when we applied we were told that my susistance for being away overnight would not be taken into account as this was to pay for my evening meal and breakfast.

Can they just double it overnight

Not without good reason, like a decent payrise, or some expense disappearing (car HP or somesuch). Ask your IP for a breakdown of how they have come by that figure, they could well have counted something twice ( it wouldn't be the first time!).
