I wanna new PC.......

I'm after a new computer and was wondering if you've seen any good deals?
I want a pretty big hard drive, lots of memory and a good graphics card, but I am not looking to spend more than about £400
I've been looking at the Aldi Medion one out this thursday and also the £270 Emachines one in Comet. The Aldi one is looking the best out of those two as it has better specs and a 3 year warranty thrown in, plus my last emachines was pretty bad.
Any others??
Cheers...

The cheapest way is always to build one, you also get better components. It's not unlike Lego these days, you should be fine as long as you google yourself up some guides when you need them. If you want something to play games on, the people on the UK PC Gamer forums will help you.
I'd use overclockers.co.uk scan.co.uk and microdirect.co.uk for parts.0 -
Thanks but I think to build a PC with all the features these two have would cost me more. Windows Vista Premium alone is around £100.
Besides, even if it is cheaper its worth paying that bit extra for much less work I think, I would rather just have everything all set up and ready.
Thanks for the advice though.0 -
It's up to you but I find building to be cheaper and of higher quality (the build and components).
[edit]take note of the graphics cards when buying pcs, especially cheap ones[/edit]0 -

Thanks but I think I have decided on the Aldi one. The 3 year warranty and the Windows Vista Premium and the graphics card and the media features arw just too tempting! Thanks for your help.0

Your best off building your own pc you can get a better spec to pre-built pc's.
Try these sites:

Hi, its mentioned in the download here

BTW building a PC is not that difficult. If you get a motherboard it will give you the specs of the parts that will fit and you just have to make sure you get suitable matching parts, which just plug in and fit it into your case. Its not too difficult really you just need to be reasonably up to date with the latest products. Then just install XP, Vista etc.
For example if you go for an Athlon processor it might use socket AM2 so look for an AM2 motherboard at say dabs.com some DDR2 memory a SATA Hard-drive etc. You do need a bit of experience but not that much, and there is plenty of advice on forums.
