Well for the first time in ages the 28th come and the account has enough money to pay the bills! Rent from tenant has come in and I left around £250 of th tc lump sum payment in the accout. I haven't even taken any money out if oh business (because he hasn't got any yet! Once again owed £1300 from one client who has promised to pay today). Do have a £700 cc bill to pay by the 4th (not usually that high, but had landlord insurance and some equipment for oh business on there) so hoping oh gets paid so I can pay that bill, if not I'll have to dip into savings for time being.

Still waiting for flex direct accout to open, can't wait until we will actually be earning some interest again!

Oh has promised he should have this afternoon off, so hoping to get down to diy store to get some bits. We've been in this house for over two years and have hardly done anything. I managed to pull shower curtain rail down at Christmas and not been able to afford a new one yet, plus I'm determinded to get our horrible carpet up from livingroom. I want to sand and varnish floorboards, but need to replace some where they got damaged at edge of room when taken up i presume for installing elec of central heating decades ago.

Well I have been playing around with my spreadsheets & have draw up a cash flow statement in addition to my SOA. Then I can put in the regular figures plus any annual costs i.e. insurances (trying to pay annually to save on interest).

I have also including by 0% cc debts, with a reasonable spending and income budget I have forecast that I will have £1,882 on credit cards by the end of December, with a cash balance of £3,250, so a net balance of £1,368. The 0% cc debt is due in May 2014. So this money is potentially available for OP (or DIY project hmmmm....).

Any by this time next year I will have 0 on CC and £3,745 in bank (I think/hope).

I have a short term aim to get mortgage to £100,000 by the end of our fixed rate deal, which I believe is May 2016, so just under 3 years, involving OP of £4,000 per year.

So clients all paid up for OH business, paid montly CC & have enough money in bank to pay DD which will go out on Monday. Leaving £1000 in OH business account (but can transfer if we get the a/c set up which pays interest!). TC will be paid on 4th, so been a good month really!

Bit of a spend day today, went to DIY shops, had to get replacement security light for BTL, there are no street lights and the old one has gone bust - £8.99 cost.

Finally got another show curtain rail, the one I was looking at is the ones you can fix to the ceiling (so I dont pull it down again!), however, cheapest one we found was £26 in toolstation, but we needed two... So popped into JTF and they had some really dusty ones for £15 each, so got two of them - £30.

Then popped into Sainsbury to collect click & collect (my Aunt sent DD Sainsbury vouchers for her birthday & I got her two Orchard Toys puzzles on two for £8). While in there OH decided we need another saucepan. The ones we have we bought about 10 years ago, still good non stick but the handles are a bit wobbly and I'm worried we will drop something! Saw they have some one half price - so got a large one for £13. Then had to get friends sons birthday present as we are going to his party on Sunday, however, managed to talk OH out of buying DD a little rugby ball (really it was for him), however she did throw it really well - right down the aisle hitting a member of staff (who admittedly was pretty impressed at the throwing skill of our 2 year old!), it was £5 which is too much for an impulse buy

Ok just checked my dates, 5 1/2 weeks until my due date!!!! That had come around rather quickly! Luckily I am showing no signs of preeclampsia this time around. Feet are a tiny bit swollen, but that's possibly because its been really hot.

Need to start sorting things out for little ones arrival. Managed to get OH to sort out our bedroom to put the cot back up. I washed the curtains and its looking nice.

Now I need to sort washing dds old clothes, blankets, cloth nappies and see if we need anything new. Hoping we don't need to get anything. I do want to get some more fleece nappy liners and washable wipes, as I don't think I will have enough with two in nappies! Bought some muslins and socks from Aldi. And starting to sort hospital bag.

Not feeling very frugal this week! Bought some fleece liners and washable wipes from little lamb for baby, and have seen today they have a very tempting offer 6 pocket nappies for £40. Will have a look at finances later...

Today went to tescos to pick up bed linen for dd bed, was on offer online and went through tcb and got 95p cashback.

Yesterday I ordered a little trampoline for dd with money we got for her birthday. Had to put £6 towards it but cashback if £2.15 on quidco reduced that. Its an elc but is also on mother are website. If ordered from elc I would have to pay delivery, but mothercare had free delivery if spend £30.

got a few bits for hospital bag too. Need a new nightie still and something to drink, but then its just washing, then we are ready for baby!

Sorted change out the other day and banked £4 in coppers. However I was 2p short on one of the bags, but the lady let me put it in as 98p. I think she felt sorry for me, does help being heavily pregnant sometimes :P

Will be ANOTHER spend day today! Off to Aldi to get food shopping, planning to spend in the £40s today! I may attempt to add up on my phone as I go round but may be difficult as dd likes to play with my phone. The shop should be quieter today, been going on Thurs/fri recently as its been packed.

Off to get hair cut tomorrow, it will be the first time I've been to hairdresser in 2 years!!! Just not been a priority with money. My mum has trimmed it, but I think she is nervous of cutting it properly. Its got really long and I don't have the time to straighten it to make it look presentable, so normally gets tied back.

TC due to pay tomorrow and will pay a bit off cc. One has around £500 spending which only had 6 months 0%, and is due in Oct. I'll put £75-100 off every month and it shouldn't be a shock come October.

Still not heard from Nationwide for account, hate waiting!

looked at TCB and quidco accounts yesterday and have around £100 that has tracked and pending. Plus the £16 which didn't track that I'm claiming.

Back from Aldi and I feel like I'm dying!!!!! Everytime I go there my hayfever becomes unbearable!

Managed to spend £45 :) yay that included a couple of bottles of cider for DH. However DH has mentioned going to Chinese supermarket this afternoon to get more spices, so may void my efforts!

Going to work out a task list for July...

    1. Finish these tax returns and get paid!
    2. Apply for MA as soon as I've invoiced the returns
    3. Get washing all dd's newborn clothes and nappies for dd2
    4. Batch cook some meals for the weeks when baby arrives, so no temptation to get takeaway! Need some inspirartion what to cook
    5. Pay £75-100 off 0% cc when ends October (will do this tomorrow)
    6. Look at whether there are any other bills I can cut back on... Sky is my next consideration...
    7. Keep to food budget of £200 this month!
    8. See if I can sort of DH website, to try and get more private work as it pays better than what the dealers are willing to pay

TC paid into account today, so paid off £100 on 0% CC. Also transferred £400 from DH business account into our savings as it earns 0% interest in there & he didn't really need it sitting there. Updated signature...

DD's newborn clothes are washed and on the line. Tomorrow bedding & nappies (if its sunny). Then need to sort out DD's wardrobe & drawers to make room for DD2's clothes.

Nationwide cards are through, so getting closer to transferring current account!

Rang nationwide and account set up now. So have started all the DD transfers and transferred the £2162 which was in my savings into it. Will be getting 5% interest, which accounts to about £9 per month on that money alone. If I can get the balance to sit at £2,500 it will be £10.42 pm.

Had my hair cut & I forgot how nice it is to pamper yourself. I can see why people always find the money for it, I am £25 lighter but feeling a million times better! Hair a lot shorter, but looking in much better condition. First thing DD said to me when I saw her after was "mummy pretty hair!" she is a cutie!
