Is it OK to use the mains adapter part of the iPhone charger (along with the usb lead supplied with my kindle) to charge my Kindle? Its one of the ones without the keyboard.
I don't want to fry it or cause unnecessary battery degredation.
Many thanks in advance

Not sure on kindle power requirements, but if you mean the 3 pin plug with usb port. The as long as the kindle only requires 5v and 500ms, then it will be fine. If it needs more than 500ma, then don't use it.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

Maybe worth noting.
The light near the USB connection is green when the battery is fully charged.

I bought a refurbished Kindle last year which didn't include a charger, just a USB cable for charging from a PC. I use my HTC phone charger and it works fine, although oddly the HTC cable doesn't work with the Kindle (it does with the phone) so I have to use the Kindle cable.0
