Your assessment house to buy

Dear All

I just see the following property:

1. On Dacca Street, Depfort/Lewisham london SE8 5LJ

on the market for £199,995

2 on Grangemill Road SE6 3JZ
http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/13613474?search_identifier=
Fixed price £185,000

Which one do you think is better, is there any problem that I might not be aware off. If you could gove your opinion ans assessment, I willl reall appreaciate that.

    All due respect to all those good folk at Dacca Street, but it looks like trouble to me - just judging from streeview.

    Why not take a look at both in person, both during peak and off peak periods to get a feel for the house(s) and area?

    I would also look up the crime statistics for both areas!

    But it is a very strategic area sorrounding with a lot of flats and quite close to Canary Wharf.
    I remember someone sya to me better you buy an ugly house in the strategic areas rather than the prettiest but in the middle of nowhere ...

    I have done that in the evening when I did viewing ..

    both areas have their problems, however its dependent on what you see as a problem, both will have similar crime rates, that area of bellingham unfortunately has a somewhat racist, entrenched attitude, but is still a diverse area, it borders on catford (officially it is in catford)

    deptford is more cosmopolitan but is not considered that pleasant in the estates (there are some lovely conservation areas of deptford but that house isnt in one of them)
