sorry about your hours been cut, that is bound to bring in much more than you will get from comping... although some people do quite well on average it is just ahobby that sometimes brings you some lovely prizes.
if you dont look at it as a replacement for a job and just a hobby that it doesnt matter if you win or not then you wont be disappointed
