See it as a hobby not a way to gain things or you'll get bored very easily if the wins don't come in quickly

Whether it's worth it sort of depends of what else you'd be doing in those three days.

For example I work full time so the only time I comp is in the evenings while watching TV and at weekends when I'm not busy. So for me, yes it's worth it.

If getting another part time job for those three days is an option then sitting at home comping instead probably isn't worth it, however if you would just be sitting at home watching TV then comping probably would be worth it if you get me.

Winning is fun, but not guaranteed though, so don't count on it for additional income if that's your goal.

You never know though, you may win a car!!!
    2009 Wins = £833
    2010 Wins = £6,597
    2011 Wins = £7,083

    £2,012 in 2012 = £450/£2,012
    20 in 2012 = 4/20
  • Today I won a TV, signed Footie shirt and make up - so I think it is worth it, if you had asked yesterday I was ready to give up as nothing had come my way............... I go in fits and starts really, can be boring at times so I take a break and go back to it again - esp in winter as not going out and about so much. Good luck, have fun with it and you never know, you might be posting about a big ITV win soon :)

Personaly for me, it is worth it, I have won so many things that i wouldnt have been able to afford otherwise, what you need to do though is not take things to serious, enter for fun and if you win something then fab, but if not dont let it get to you, I have enetered thousands and not won then other times i enter a couple and win straight away, It can go either way, Sometimes I get fed up and when i do a take a week or more off from entering anything. Good luck and happy comping :)

  • I do it as a hobby and because I enjoy it, I started mid last year and have won a few what I would class as big prizes, such as a TV, kenwood mixer, kitchen makeover, however there have been plenty of dry spells where I have won nothing, so if you are doing it as a bit of fun and if you win something then it is a bonus then I would say yes definatly worth it, however if you are looking at making an income from it then I would say that perhaps the time would be better spent looking for another job. either way I hope you enjoy it :)
  • I've just started comping, I enter a few each day when I'm watching the telly or have a few mins to spare. I've entered 273 since 1st Jan :T Not won anything yet but it's early days.
