Lloyds dont seem interested in taking back their money (paid me twice)

As it says in the title, I have been paid twice (second time in error) i have rung and emailed and the payment is still sitting in the bank for well over a month now.

I have no intention of keeping the money but omg how hard is it to give back the money.

I am pretty sure they will eventually realise and then will contact you for it back. So sit tight and If I were you I would put it into a savings account and gain some interest of it.....you might as well.

Well done for getting paid, I am still waiting and it just shows they really don't know what they are doing if they can pay people twice :mad:

Yes best hold on to it, don't waste your money chasing it with them its their problem not yours. Bang it in a savings account and wait for them to finally get around to noticing, you have informed them so its up to them to recover it now.

I wonder if there is any kind of limit on how long they can still recover it on. Fair enough if you don't inform them and they only do the books later, but in this case you have told them.
Hmm wonder if the FOS have any kind of procedures for this. Its annoying though isn't it as you want it sorted lol.
