After weeks of procastinating and burying my head in the sand I finaly picked up the phone, I had no records just a bank account number, thats all it needed, I was told over the phone,"yes I can see you have had 4 ppi's, we will be in touch". I then got a call and was asked lots of leading and closed questions, I felt it did not go well. A week or two later a letter saying they had found no grounds to support my claim.... And it was closed. I then did the sensible thing and read all of martins tips for making a claim. I called back and told them that I was not happy with there decision and quoted from Martins tips, ending with please send me a full break down in the post. Two weeks later no break down, instead a letter saying they would be paying £5200,00 into my bank account, woohoo. Lessons, be prepared, watch out for that phone call, read all of Martins notes, dont take no for an answer.
Thank you Martin you have made my wife very happy !!!!
