Now what have i done

I have noticed that the default for documents was the public choice and not my named one, so i clicked on the 2 locations tab and tried to change it.
At first i think i clicked on the add Tab but then deleted that then i clicked on my named one and choose make default, BUT when i open documents it shows both locations.
The groups can be collapsed but i only used to get ONE location before i started messing and NO collapsed groups showing.
I have tried system restore but that didnt work.
I have also lost my e mail and photos and music
Help Please
How do i get it back to normal?
