first time buyers!
i am moving in with my friends who are about to buy their first house. how do we guess which tariff is best for us? 1.(I am the disabled chap who will be there too!(but happy to talk/chat/listen from bed - like now!); 2. his wife is at coll/school at least 2 days a week and he works 'til at least midnight! -(I have not paid the gas or lekky bill since they were called 'boards!')' but am still delegated to organise utilities- no probs, but I would hate to get it wrong! I think broadband and phone are sorted (I(personally hate British Gas) would like an assist, if anyone has any good ideas) (I am happy to steer him towards renewables if I can - hey but cheap is cheap!) - I will not sign up for those comparison/junk-call sites btw!

To get accurate answers from the Switch sites, you need to know the Gas & Elec annual Kwh consumptions which you don't have, but if you ask the present supplier they will tell you what those figures were for the previous occupants of this house.
Be aware the figures are only an indicator as the lifestyle of any one group of occupants has a marked effect on the annual Utility Bills - So take regular meter readings to build up an accurate picture of your own history0
