Option to stretch masthead not there for all users

I followed Martin's instructions on stretching the masthead as I cannot work with the "upgraded" version however having selected CP User then scrolled down to "miscellaneous" I only have one option (event reminders) and it's nothing to do with stretching mastheads - how else can I access the settings to change this view?

I think you're in the wrong place.
User CP then Edit Options (not the Miscellaneous in the left hand frames) then scroll right down to Miscellaneous & the option is there. You're looking for the Forum Skin in the very bottom drop-down choice box. Chose the stretchy

I had the same issue, but yes, in Your Control Panel on the left hand side is Setting & Options and the Edit Options is in that section. It worked for me.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
