The only reason I dont host my own pics is because I dont understand how that works with having a gallery picture.

If you host them... how do you then get a pic to appear in the search results beside the name? Do you just take the initial free pic with ebay then add the rest of the pics into the description via html coding?

To get you pic to appear next to the description in search results, you have to pay for the gallery feature, that pic will be your first free pic that ebay allows you to have.

The hosted pics will appear in your desciption in the listing.

With other html coding, you can virtually build a web page within your listing.

This ebay thread, needs to have some extra sub catergories with ebay tutorials in. such as this 1. Will help stop a lot of heated debates (i should know, was bad of me) And make them stickies

Easiest way for me is auctiva.com its free for a basic account and you get free extra pictures, free scheduling, free scrolling gallery, free listing templates. Best thing about it is when people click on the photos on your listing they can see supersize photos - handy if you are selling something with lots of detail.

    Just use Photobucket www.photobucket.com

Upload your pics to that then you can use it to generate the html code which you then just copy and paste into your ebay listing. Simple.

I did use auctiva for a bit, but its much quicker to use ebays site or turbo lister IMO.
