Pre-payment meter inspection case

I arranged a date and time with Scottish Power to come and inspect my meter as part of a regular annual thing. So far, he's not appeared and has half an hour left. Is there something in existence that states if the energy company fail to appear when they are supposed to, I can claim some compensation for my wasted time? I'm sure I read this somewhere but I could be wrong.

Thanks!

Peter

so if on benifts, does that mean us tax payers get it back in the pot
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • After all that, the engineer appeared just with five minutes to spare. Oh well, he got here in the end.
