can someone please help me, i first wrote to halifax in 2009 about being mis sold ppi, which they soon replyed saying i had said in my interview that i needed it, which is a load of rubbish, i have since wrote to them again on 27th nov 2011, they replyed to me on the 7th dec 2011 saying my claim is being investigated which will take up to 12 week but someone will be in contact with me within 4 weeks, well this has never happened, do you think i should write to them or leave it till the 12 weeks are up?

provide them the evidence that shows that.
Although you are getting lucky here as Halifax havent spotted your previous complaint and are auto upholding complaints at present. You just have to wait as they are taking ages due to backlog.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
