hi , after refilling the bk toner , my printout now has parts missing - same place on every page !
clean down but same ! checked it with other colour - i opened an excel and printed 4 bars along the page of red/yel/blue/bk - all has the same part 'non' coloured :O(
Q1 - any good idea what went wrong?
Q2 - any good recommendation on cheap laser printers ? eben just mono but with CHEAP replacements toners rather than refills ?
many thanks

Check the drum cylinder isn't marked. Get a soft cloth and run it over the drum very gently (you will need to slide back the protective cover). At the same time, check for damage as if you have any damage, this could be the cause.
Either that or the replacement toner you have used isn't being magnetised equally - hence the gaps. Sometimes removing the cartridge and gently rocking it back and forth can level out the toner so it settles along the length of the cartridge.
Failing that, I am stumped!
Can't help on Q2 as I am not au fait with colour lasers on the market. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
