Block Paving Quote

Hi,
I've had a quote for some Block Paving for a driveway and I'm not sure if it's a fair quote. It seems a little high but am I not sure, would welcome other opinions.
Details:
Company : Priory Paving
My Location: Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, UK.
Job: Replace garden and knock down garden wall and replace with block paved area (30m2) with block paving to be used as a drive.
Block: Stone Rectangle
Laying Pattern: 90 degree
Soldier Course - Charcoal Rectangle
Quote for all work is £2500.
Would welcome anyone elses opinion, also has anyone had any work done by this company or other companies in my area?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi,
I've since had two further quotes from two different Marshalls approved installers, one quoted £1885 (inc Guarantee) and one quoted £1675 + plus cost of guarantee which according to the marshalls book is 2 1/2% of quote = roughly £41 on top. quite a range of prices.

Ask them how much are they digging out of your garden. If you're putting a car on the drive it'll need ~150mm of compacted stone put in, before the sand (approx another 50mm) and paving is put down. Without it, you'll have tunnelling from your car wheels in a yr or two. Some cheaper quotes can mean less solid bed for paving. Not an issue if its only for walking on.*************************
