Light in the box sounds good but I can't see my dress in there. Will they make a copy?
The site I saw my dress on is beautygowndress.com - has anyone used this site?0 -
Hi guys I se some one was looking for this dress. I also really want this dress in a 12 or 14 new or old but need to pay less than £700 for it. I don't think I jaw the confidence to buy from china and I don't know what to think of that beautygowndress online shop. If anyone has any ideas on getting hold of this dress used or from sample sale I would really really appreciate it. Oh but it must be the lace up back so code number:2236C
Let me know please if anything is found. I'm really cutting it fine for my wedding now but in a year of dress hunting this was the only one I really liked.
Thanks

I also ordered a wedding dress from a company called Artsy Wedding.com - NEVER EVER deal with these people.
I selected a replica dress and it arrived, it was so cheap - the material was ridiculous! Beading started to fall off the dress and it was cheaply made.
i returned the dress and paid for the courier to send it back, they refused the item numerous times had the cheek to claim they had received it and all was well.
Got a call from the courier company stating that customs are demanding the tariffs to be paid - they said they had paid it and Artsy had charged me half of this which they did not and THEN i had to pay for customs - so well and truly i paid for a dress which was a total joke, i paid half of the cost of their tariffs (which they claim) and then i had to pay customs.
NEVER DEAL WITH THEM. ITS A TOTAL SCAM!0 -
I bought my dress from light in the box too.
Now i needed it custom made, so followed all their instructions and off we went with that.
Couldn't fault the tracking or time scale, Please please please remember that you pay duty when it comes into this country, so many people dont realise this and then come to mse to complain.
the dress was lovely, but big, too big but fortunately my bridesmaid is a dressmaker so she will be making the alterations.
the dress you can tell was not made with love, but again my bm will be doing the finishing touches.
would i buy from them again yes.
although wouldn't try an ebay seller from china, don't think i can trust them
I had my shoes and my wrap from Light in the box. The duty would have been ok at £11 on a £60 spend, but UPS adding £15 in administration costs took the mickey. As a result, I wouldn't buy from them again.
However, I bought my dress from an ebay seller in china, paid no duty and totally love it. They custom made it to measurements sent to them. Including the petticoat it cost me £99.99 delivered. I could never have got anything for that here. I am more than happy, and will be leaving feedback to reflect this.Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???0 -
I bought mine from dressilyme. Absolutely stunning! Even better I sold it on ebay for the price I paid after I wore it!

Apologies for starting a new thread if one already exists on this topic! I did a search but couldn't find what I needed! I've fallen in love with an Alfred Angelo dress but it sort of breaks the bank a little bit... However I've found a few websites that will make it for a fraction of the price in China. Has anyone used any of these sites and what was the quality like? Could you recommend Amy specific sites? Any tips or warnings?
Thanks!
JFLO did yo use beautygowndress.com? need some reviews on it.0
