Experian Rep Query

Still no joy?
How spooky are you?
I was going to resurrect this thread after the Easter hols . . .
Nothing whatsoever from the bold James Jones.
After pestering the hell out of the local branch of HBOS finally (last Friday in fact) got them to forward an email to me from their CRA dept (whatever it's called) acknowledging that the address was linked erroneously and should be removed.
Not a single word from Experian tho' - really ridiculously frustrating process to remove information that should never have been recorded.
Will let you know if/when he replies.

Sorry, have only just seen the updates on this thread. Your email went to our complaints team and I asked them to look out for your query and investigate it for you. I'll chase this up urgently. Should not have taken this long.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

Truly pathetic is it not! I don't have time tho' to be faffing about with the ICO over such a trivial matter - surely this is not what they were created for!DF0

Bib - really sorry about this but we cannot find your email based on the information above. Please can you re-send your email (or a new one containing relevant details) to:customer-relations@uk.experian.com? My colleague Mark will keep an eye out for it. Thanks.

Just logged on to update and found above two posts.
Just says it all really.
The CRAs hold enough significant information to really mess up a consumer's financial life.
But they don't appear that bothered whether or not it is accurate.
Pleased to say that as of today - some 6 months after initial contact, I've been contacted to say that the incorrect information held on my file has been removed.
The CRAs need to be more accountable. Instead they pass the consumer from pillar to post.
