Question for the Experian rep
Sir
When my ex-husband went into our local BoS to change his address, the clerk erroneously changed all my accounts to his address too.
I noticed this on online banking, advised them accordingly, and it was changed back.
In the interim however, they have reported this to all 3 CRAs.
I raised a dispute and both Equifax and Callcredit removed this inaccurate information.
Experian wrote to the BoS who then compounded their error by confirming that I had lived there - (it probably does say this on their records!). Their records are wrong.
What do I have to do to get you to correct this information?
If you check the ER I have lived at my present address since 2001 - continuously!).

Hi, it says on the MSE website and I was advised by Halifax that I could obtain a credit report online from Experian for £2. I've been through all the FAQ's and info at www.experian.co.uk but couldn't find how I obtain this.
I've tried ringing your 'customer helpline' which I found I couldn't speak to anyone on as I wasn't a CreditExpert member - not much of a helpline. I also couldn't email through your website for help as, again, you will only help people who have already signed up.
I don't want to become a member or pay £14.99, I just want a one-off report for £2. I know I've been refused credit in error and want to find out why. Please tell me how to do this. I can't get a free trial as I had one several years ago when I was curious what a credit report contained.
Please help, as I don't dare re-apply for my Halifax card until this problem is resolved, I know another refusal will count against me.0 -
I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T0

Bump. Bump. Bump.
7 weeks on and no word from either the bank or Experian.
No wonder the consumer gets irate about CRAs!!
So I called my bank this afternoon and they confirmed they'd emailed all 3 CRAs correcting their error.
Mr James Jones - any chance of getting back to me and confirming if indeed this is that case and if Experian have amended their erroneous records?
Apologies if my tone is harsh - getting seriously cheesed off with the whole process now.
