Not sure on this one but I want to return an unsuitable item bought at full price which is now half price in a Tesco store. Will I get the price I paid or the new store price? Would I be better off asking for an exchange or a gift card. Thanks in advance.

depends ig you have a reciept and if its within the t's & c's of tescos return policy.
If you have the reciept and its withing their returns policy you will be entitled to the price you paid.0 -

I would assume that you will be allowed to return the item as long as its in a saleable condition. I would imagine tesco have a fairly generous returns policy (cant promise this) and like i said you will be entitled to howeve much you paid.0

T&Cs I can find online say 14 days for non-perishable goods in the original packaging. But that might only relate to online purchases.0
