Hi
I'm with Lloyds of London for my Building and Content and want to get on the Quidco/M&S/Zurich band wagon as i can save a couple of hundred quid.
Will i be able to cancel my existing insurance? (renewal is in Aug).
Do i just ring them up to cancel?
Ta peeps

If you haven't claimed this year you should be able to cancel. If you pay by direct debit just cancel it when you have your new policy in place, letting them know exactly when you want it stopped. If you pay anually you should get a rebate. I have done this before to take advantage of a better offer.0

I sincerely doubt that your Building and Contents insurance is held direct with Lloyds of London. Since no one knows the cancellation terms of your insurance I dont think we can advise here. It should be in your terms and conditions. You may well find that the costs of cancelling will outweigh the benefits of changing.0

You should be able to cancel if you are claim free - however, you may be charged a cancellation fee for terminating the contract early 9as it you are tied in for 12 months), as well as short term rates (click here for an explanation of these)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
