Item not recieved, filed paypal claim, got item now seller is escalating claim?

I purchased an item on ebay 3 weeks ago, buyer did not send item or reply to any of my emails.
I filed an item not recieved via paypal and received the item within a few days.
Now I have received a paypal message 'Your seller has chosen to escalate this dispute to a PayPal claim'.
What does that mean?

If you have the item you are supposed to close the Paypal case. It sounds as though you haven't. Log in and close the case if you can, although it sounds as if the seller has got fed up and escalated it. You should have done this as soon as you got your item.0

It means that he probably has tracking for the item and he is contesting your INR. Since you have the item why don't you cancel the Paypal dispute?0

I have cancelled the dispute, seller was a bit quick to send me item once I filed dispute and also a bit quick to escalate the dispute to a PayPal claim.
Only just got the item..
Now the question of whether to leave him a negavitve?0 -
Did you look at the postmark? was it posted after you opened the dispute or could it have been a replacement? was there any contact from the seller during the dispute?0

The seller was TOO quick to send a replacement? My goodness, what did you want?0

It wasn't a replacement, seller didn't even send it out.
Only by getting paypal involved did I eventually get my item.0 -

It was posted 1 day after I filed dispute.
Seller only had one of the item so it wasn't a replacement.
The seller responded to dispute after they dispatched item with tracking information.0 -

I know this because seller only had the one item.0 -
It was posted 1 day after I filed dispute.
Seller only had one of the item so it wasn't a replacement.
The seller responded to dispute after they dispatched item with tracking information.
Did the seller tell you they only had one or did you assume this as they only had one listed.
It is difficult to give you any advice when you don't include all the facts.
The seller had nothing to gain by not sending an item and then sending it. Their dashboard could potentially take a hit.0
