Sorry
I'm trying to set up a wireless home gateway WAG3546
I've been through the set up and the internet is working when the network cable (supplied with the pack) is plugged in between the router and the laptop but when I unplug it I lose the network connection.
Can anybody please tell me what I did wrong?
My laptop is wireless enabled so I dont think thats a problem
Thanks

default username is admin
default password is admin
both lowercase

Do you have a wireless icon?
Can it see your network?
Is wireless turned on?

I dont have those icons.
In terms of turning it on my user guide tells me to "press to enable/disable the wireless function. Indicates the status of wireless LAN communication (optional)." When I press this button I get "No device" flashing up on my screen. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Al_Mac wrote:Have you tried the Wireless Network Setup Wizard in control panel?

The scousers always mean to me
I've run the wizard and it wants me to stick a flash drive in a wireless access point
