I live in a rented 2 bed house. The carpet in the house is NOT really in good condition. I have at a time engage people to clean it but its still the same. I cannot approach the agent NOW as he once told me that the Landlord is going tru a lot of financial problem. The rent of the house is very moderate. I will be bringing new settee in few days.
Is there a way i could put another carpet on the present one? so that when o leave the house, i can conveniently remove it. Please advise!
Cheers

Do you mean a rug?:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

OP, I suggest you don't put a new carpet ove the top. The door won't fit and you'll either mess up your carpet or have to cut the door clear of the carpet and lose deposit. Get a rug.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

1. Exactly
2. I intend NOT to cover the whole house but to give the living room a bit of new look.0 -
A mate did this, he complained he got a "stale" smell after a few months0

ask the landlord if you can replace the carpet at your expense. no LL will refuse that offer.
