Freezer constantly running

Our Kyoto ku9577 upright freezer rarely turns off. Any ideas?

Have you pulled it out and looked at the heat exchanger battery behind to see if it is dust/ fluff free ? If it is choked up run the vacuum cleaner hose with nozzle brush over it.You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

Heat exchanger battery? really? lol , some freezers have a "superfreeze" setting that will make it run continually if the switch is knocked on accidently , is the thermostat up too high? does it need defrosting? have you checked that the door seal isnt split ? is there a build up of ice around the door seal preventing it from sealing correctly? check the above first, if none of the above fix it it could be either the relay is stuck , its loosing gas (but it wouldnt be as cold as it should be if this was the case) or your thermostat is knackered , the last 3 will need an engineer to diagnose if you are not technicaly minded :-)0
