Have you tried the Ibis Centre, or about 20 minutes more walk from dam square Ibis Stopera.

thanks but not looking for a hostel, looking for something decent/good quality

have found quite a few around the area i want to be in but the reviews and photos aren that good, they look really basic

have found the gran kaploski in dam sqaure but it is £120 per person for the two night and just a little over our budget

was hoping to find something similar but cheaper....

You can't get much closer to central station that Ibis centre, it's on Stationplein. It's part of the Central Station complex. Stopera is 20 minutes walk away and near the town hall and some cracking bars.

You would have to ask them, but I think you can do it at most Ibises.

See if you can get a loyalty card before you book, give a small discount sometimes.

we stayed at the ibis next to the station, was really good value, we didn't have breakfast included in the price so assume you must be able to remove it...
