anyone have an e-shop with 123.reg?? major problems!

we have finally got around to publishing our website now that we are able to take cc payments etc.
we have the instant site pro with 123reg, our main problem is the shopping cart, basically there doesn't seem to be one, although it has suposedly got one built in, ready to integrate seamlessly with paypal.
we cannot do it at all, it's as if a whole section is missing, when you get in to edit your site, there is absolutely nothing referring to payment or order details, I have tried to set up an order as a customer and cannot find any trace of it , it said the order was complete but had no payment details, just a message to say we will contact you. when I looked for it in the control panel, nothing at all. I just can't figure out what we've done wrong, if anything. It's totally frustrating. if anyone knows how to do it, let me know, 123reg haven't responded to emails, I dont fancy phoning them at 50p a min.

Sorry I can't help you mate! However I used to use 123 also and I had same issue of them not seemingly replying to emails so forcing you to run up a large phone bill. Hence why I don't use them any more.

The 123 forum is full of complaints I see, and 50p/min. access is what frustrates people a lot. There is no FAQ on how to configure Instantsite. I think you should consider moving to a more expensive but better service. Mr Site get mentioned quite a bit, around £25/month. Or rent space from easily.co.uk at about £80/annum and load a freeware shop such as Cubecart onto it (which is what I did) You need to have a minimum hosting package that includes MySQL. Some technical nous needed though. Easily does respond on their 0870 line and does fix things. You still need to have patience.

I found them a nightmare and just moved to 1and1 instead. There are great shopping cart packages you can buy such as Actinic, shopfactory etc or try cubecart or romancart for much cheaper alternatives ( although a little more work needed to set them up)

I use shopfactory and it's been well worth the money I paid out initially
