What next after Vanquis / IVA

On 9 Feb '12, my credit files will become clean, no defaults, no IVA anymore (six years) and no late payments.
I finished IVA in early 2011, on schedule.
I currently have recorded on CRAs:
- 11 yr old bank account with od (since IVA finished)
- 6 yr old mobile phone
- Vanquis reporting 9 greens
- Nationwide and Natwest reporting greens - no od
I'd like to go mainstream when CRAs go clear, so which one? I'd love an AMEX again but I heard they have elephant memories - I also quite like the LTSB Amex/Mastercard Duo deal - but again I have bad history with them..
Of those with whom I didn't get into the s**t - there aren't many sadly:
- Nationwide
- Sygma / Creation
- Yorkshire Bank
Which one would you choose? Actually which ones have I missed?
The ones I said 'bollox I ain't payin' (subsequently in IVA) to when the bills arrived are:
- Cap One
- Halifax
- LTSB
- Amex
- NatWest & RBS (yes, I had both)
- MBNA
- Barclaycard
- Egg
Whether any of these actually keep data longer than six years I don't know. I know the defaults have to drop off six years from default but not sure if the banks can keep data internally forever..
Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated..

Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

when you go clear you can use the nationwide online credit card quote. It will tell you your APR / Limit based on a soft search of your credit file - essentially telling you whether or not you'll be approved befor leaving a footprint.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I would go for the creation flybe, barclay card is a no no as they do remember. Capital one tend to let people have cards back thoughDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Sorry to say but you have practically zero chance of getting an Amex.0
