That seems incredibly petty! Though do their international calls get prioritised over domestic calls? Then I can understand why they'd do that (despite it still being annoying!).

Is it possible to use the overseas number and still get through to the call centre's? Has anyone done it?

I always us the overseas number when calling Lloyds/TSB. Never any problems and don't think the call centre staff know.

It used to be unless you called withheld from a mobile.
I just use 0800 056 6066 for santander.
