OP just make sure you get 20% off the list price. Fords on list price are way overpriced at the moment.0

Dont worry I will! Ive already been offered a good deal on a fiesta edge 1.25, 5 dr for 10k (list 12k), so a 2k discount is what I would expect on a fiesta. They want 700 more for the zetec, not really sure its worth it though......This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I have a 2004 (built)/2005 (registered) Fiesta 1.4 TDCi. For a start, the CO2 emissions figure is 116g/km, so car tax is just £30. I am currently averaging 52.27mpg since I bought it on 1 July 2010, and this hasn't altered much whether it's nipping around town or cruising on the motorway. I'm not using my car as much at the moment (between jobs, not as much money) and my mileage over the last year is down to 12,022 miles. I'll let you know IF the DPF goes. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Stephen,
If you check I think you will find your Fiesta doesn't have a DPF. It's only from about 2008/9 onwards that Ford started to fit them, if memory serves me correct."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Go for the petrol, you'll still get way over 40mpg and it will warm up quicker in the winter.
It will take ages to make you're £1300 back0 -
There should be another £500 to come off that.
Thats just the dealers opening price. I havent even begun to negotiate yet....:D
However, they have offered an excellent price for my part-ex (>£500 better than the valuation on WhatCar and any other dealer I have been to). This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
