With all the hysteria around benefit changes what changes are coming in this April?
If you can't work owing to ill heath does that mean you get no benefits at all?

If the government plans all go through then contributions based, but not income related, ESA will have limitations in duration but remains as the out of work unable to work benefit. DLA will be replaced by PIP also (as general disability benefit).
So simple answer to question is no."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
only the people in the wrg of esa will be affected people in the support group will continue to get contribution based esa for as long as they are in the support group0
