Spotted St Tropez spf15 water resistant sunscreen lotion at the Fort Boots for £1 - this stuff is usually £12-£14 ish.

Did very well in Kilmarnock this morning!

They had loads of those "Best of Boots" boxes that all the Scottish stores were giving away a while ago, it said on the shelf "free with purchase of any 3 Boots own-brand products" but actually went through the till free on its own!

Also in the reduced section they had loads of reduced Sanctuary moisturisers, face scrubs and masks, all £3-£4, and men's Botanics moisturisers at £2.75, all went through with the £2.50 skincare vouchers & extra points vouchers.

AND! Used my £5 No 7 Parenting Club voucher and got 2 x £12.50 sun creams for free plus another wrap!

Also used my free disposable camera voucher along with the BOGOF to get 2 of the £8.99 cameras.

Heard the nice SA telling another one (in shocked tone) how I got all that stuff for £2, lol! :rotfl:

also got a mini as I thought that would take me over the £10

All went through as 342, so did not get to the £10 mark as I expected.

Paid 7.84 and got 200 points back, thought that was fairly good anyways.

All this Bootsing is making my head spin! But, I felt smug and thrifty this morning: got my £10 voucher from Pigsback (yay!) so went in and got a load of essentials plus 2 creme eggs (2 4 70p) and some mascara as a treat. Kids needed new toothbrushes and they were 342 so got a free one for me too Wipes bogof so another reason to be cheerful. Then when I got to the till handed over my advantage card, collected all the points on my £11.25 spend, then gave the double points coupon, which went through, and only then handed over my voucher. It clearly says you can't get points for a voucher spend, but if you get the points first, they don't come off A minor victory, maybe (£1.25 + 90 points for a whole load of stuff I needed to get anyway), but why would I be on MSE if I didn't think every penny counted?

Now I need to work out how best to spend my £2.50 skincare vouchers...

Got an Avent kit today 5op and some Valentine heart chocs in a red netting material for 45p - good for easter kids gifts if you put them in a small box or basket

Also may shapers sarnis 60p with the coupon from change one thing

be careful i picked one up last week and they charged me a pound as I'd already had one on my card! Maybe just take one or use another card?

thanks surfsister - that doesn't sound good. I don't have another card, and I'd feel a bit funny just taking one.

Yes you can get more mags.i'm not sure why surfsister got charged but i always pick one mag get it scanned and then goto another sa with the same card and another mag and have never been charged

Thanks Zoe I will give it a go then. I suppose since the mags are so old now, if I did get charged I could say I'd forgotten that I'd already had one and didn't want it.

I got charged for a mag once, but that was only because I had taken two at the same time (after reading on here about the Botanics coupons ). I got one free and noticed I had paid a pound for the other one when I looked at my receipt after leaving the store. Went back, found same SA and she was happy to undo the transaction and give me back a pound and let me have the mag! I was glad I checked my receipt tho, am sure many peeps wouldn't and assumed they got the mag free when in fact they may have paid for it...

Have had more mags since then, but always one at a time now
