Has anyone used the £2.50 skincare voucher on reduced items.I have used it in the past on sanctuary but was turned down today which i found strange and its unfair because theres hardly any facial items available from the range and when they are voucher not allowed.I did ring customer services but the lady was very adamant that clearance items are excluded.I didn't even get the 342 offer on 2 warming masks and a rosemary&mint mask.I think they read this website now-she said she was going to note this down and point it out at the next meeting that all stores should exclude reduced items from promotions

Ive used mine on reduced items the lovely SA over-rode tho till & she added on my 200 points from the AC machine. It depends on the SA as, I have had some refused during the last lot of vouchers.

My reduced charcoal masks went through with no problems though.

It does state on the back not to be used with reduced items etc

    Hi,
Has anyone got a No7 Parenting Voucher they don't need? I have not got a lot, but am willing to swap a MF box and some vouchers from the wrap for it. Please PM me.

    Thanks.

That voucher did not work for me with this product. I purchased 3 (on 342) and used 200 from acm , £2 from no 7 wrap and 200 pts from CoT leaflet.

I was just wondering (if I ever manage to find the MF boxes!) if you think you could get these free if you buy stuff with boots points?!

I am very chilled, thank you - I doubt that you could do anything to upset me.

Yes, it is wrong. The size of the store - be it a large branch of Boots or your local corner shop is irrelevant.

If I had been given extra £10.00, I would have pointed this out.

You are confusing the issue with the 6-4-1 - this was a glitch which Boots knew about, as they were clearing old stock in advance of their new range being launched.

Why did you check the points balance on the card? If it had £100.00 on it, would you have used it?

Finally, if you want sales assistants to show gratitude, then I'm afraid that in this day and age, you are going to be very disappointed in the majority of cases. Good ones are hard to find.

No one's caused a stir, so there's no need to apologise.

    Wow - chill out Mdeebee!

Are you honestly tellin me that if you took an item back for a refund at a national highly succesful retailer who make millions every year, they refunded an extra £10 to your card by accident you would look at it and say "actually this is wrong...." I'm sorry but it is money saving, it's just lucky the till did it.

I disagree with anyone taking a small independent retailer for a ride, it comes out of an individuals pocket. With a national it's a very different story, as a "moneysaver" do you have an issue with people getting free MF boxes, and wraps with a lower spend than supposed to, and what about the 641 on suncare last month? 6 £5.50 items for 50p? It is a very similar thing when you think about it.

As for the Boots card, remember I handed it in. My point is that when I did pass it to a member of staff, they weren't even the slightest bit bothered, not even a thank you. It would be so easy for a less responsible person to spend the points as they are meant to be treated by the customer as cash, and that's Boots stance. I HANDED IT IN.

Sorry for causing a stir. :(

I had a really helpful SA who over rode till & let me use my vouchers. I had an exfoliating scrub, she also let me buy reduced minatures & added on my 200 extra points.

If you find a willing SA then it should be ok if not then it looks like it doesnt work. ( sorry I should of explained what & how I got it)

Ps How do you double quote? (been a mse for years & still I know nothing :) )
  • Hi - first posting on this thread .

I have been sent some vouchers from Boots, they are for Huggies nappies (1 x 300pts & 2 x 200 pts). They have my name on them. Can they only be used by me, or can anyone use them? My son wears Pampers - so they are no use to me.

If anyone wants them - please pm me and I can post them out tomorrow.
