haha couple of reults at boots over last couple of days....

Firstly, bought CK be 100ml perfume for £21, got a free gift they were only doing at Exbridges Exeter Store (got free Emporio Armani T-shirt, in XL so too big for me!) too CK back to Boots Exeter High St, refunded at £31...

Secondly, got MF box yesterday with some botanics wipes and nivea shave foam.

Found 2 vouchers. ALSO, was a good samaritan, found a boots card with £18 in points on it. Was tempted in a way to use them and buy something, but handed it in. SA wasn't even the slightest bit bothered. 'Oh' she said when I explained. I feel good about it though, has anyone ever found an advantage card and used the points off it?!

oh did u manage to get a black purse (or has any1 else for this matter) or do you know what the contents of these are? i ave 2 x MF boxes i might want to swap depening on whats in them!?

Yeah I did get a black purse, there was nothing in it just some air if u mean the little clutch bag?

This is not moneysaving. Buying an item for £21.00 then taking it back for £31.00 is a bit dodgy, if you ask me.

I'm glad you didn't find my Advantage Card - imagine if you were unable to "resist temptation" as you put it.

you must have put the card in an ac machine to know how many points are on the card!!!! its good you hanaded it in but you hand to think about it!!!!!
i took my kids to the local funfair ast week and had my purse stolen out of my pocket!!!! 1st thing i done was went to boots and cancelled card in case someone took it in there

This is a lovely thread, lets not turn this into an argument...

Being tempted is one thing, doing it is another.

AND can everyone on here HONESTLY say they'd have said something if you went back for a refund and were given extra money back??

It seems to me the Tesco board is all about doing just that...spotting misprices, telling the world so we can all go and buy an item, keep it and get money back...then people actually return the item with reciept and get ANOTHER REFUND! A golden r&r they call it, and get congratulated for it....
