i had a look earlier at the suncare and No7 stuff and it doesnt seem to sell very well - just wondered if people though it was worth it or not?
I sell my excess vouchers, and a few makeup bits. Last year I had a stockpile of no7 mascaras for which I had accumulated loads of ACM points, so I sold some of them.0 -
Don't know if this is the right thread for this but was in my local (small branch) of Boots today when I asked Boots SA if she knew whether there was an advantage card machine in that branch (I have to admit that I have only recently acquired a card:o ) - she said no there wasn't one but would I like to earn 250 points. I said yes and she said all I had to do was to sign up for a new prescription service which will be linked with my doctor's surgery. So I did and was given 250 points there and then.:D
The SA was walking round the store with a clipboard - so if you spot one of these then nab yourself 250 points. Don't know if this is country-wide or not but might be worth asking at Pharmacy counters about it for the points.0 -
This afternoon I want to buy the sanctary body wash - which is on 342
what combination of vouchers can I use with this
I have:
200 pts acm
cot booklet voucher
voucher from wrap
ladies £2.50 off voucher
thanks for any advice0 -
Went into Boots, armed with vouchers. Spent an age staring at the various Sanctuary things to get a good deal on something I'd use (or to make up gift sets) with the £2 off voucher from the wrap (?) and maybe the 200pts from machine... decided instead to try it on another bunch of Ted Baker stuff since they have free cosmetics purse (worth £5) with spends over £8. Found a "Body Essentials" green bag with ted baker set inside, marked at £8 on tag, went thru with free gift fine :T only thing is it didn't work with the £2 voucher, as that and the extra lil thing for £2.10 that i'd got didn't count as "bathing". Might've just been the extra as i picked up a mini body spray without thinking instead of the bath gel or whatever the other mini was. But pocketed the voucher for another day
Another £2.50 botanics lipbalm (with facial skincare voucher, so free, plus 100pts from mag), shaving foam (with mens voucher, leaving only 19p to pay) and a bargainous £1.99 (down from £7.98) Schwarzkopf Live Colour accents haircolour:rotfl:0 -

I'd watch out with the vouchers, I tried to sell some parenting club vouchers and the auction got pulled by ebay, then someone from Boots phoned me and told me if i did it again they'd cancel my parenting club membership AND my advantage card (which had over £300 in points), and they'd normally do that the first time someone sold their vouchers, but they wouldn't this time as I was such a good customer!0 -

gosh I didn't know that. However,I have only ever sold the £5 off skincare vouchers, so they couldn't trace me.

You should be able to use all except the £2.50 voucher which is for skincare only. However, on Monday I spent £10.40 on 342 sanctuary shower mousse and handed over cot voucher and wrap voucher. Wrap voucher came off,but then cot voucher didn't work because the total to pay was less than £10.
Maybe you need to hand the wrap voucher over last.0 -
First post on the boots thread - new to bootsing!!
Picked up some sanctuary stuff today on 342 - acm wouldn't give me any vouchers and had none from other sources.
However, there was a free gift bag offer with the 342 - it was a paper/card bag in maroon/brown with (I think) 'Indulge' embossed on the front. It is tied with a thick brown/maroon ribbon and has rope handles. Didn't come off at the till and was charged £2 - got it sorted though. SA knew about the offer and just refunded. The bags were in plastic holders attached to the shelf. Had a big sticker on them saying 3 for 2 and a free gift bag.
I also picked up a MF bag - there was one high up on a display (luckily I am quite tall). Popped a reduced eye-liner (not MF) in the basket for the OH just in case they questioned it. Didn't raise an eyebrow.
Only ended up with 181 points from a £18 spend. Got an extra 100 points for 3 packs of toothpaste that were on 342 and got triple points on a muffin (I thought this would triple my whole points awarded but only tripled the points for the muffin).
Still a beginner I think.
