Glad you got on ok at boots. I noticed you said you had a sad lamp are they any good as I have been thinking about getting one for a while but the cost etc had put me off.If anyone else had one I would be grateful for some feedback .
Hi, My mum has SAD and in winter she can become really depressed. She recently bought a SAD lamp and shes convinced its working. She uses it every morning for at least 30 mins whilst doing her hair/reading books etc. They are really really bright, you're not meant to look directly at them, just sit ext to them looking slightly to one side so that the UV rays get to the back of your eyes.
Becuase they are classed as medical, you can claim the VAT back from them.
Hope this helps0 -

I noticed by the No7 till in my local (hidden behind a little display so you can't pick them up otherwise you would look like you're trying to get in the till!) are several small, yellow bottles - they look like mini suncare items, anyone else seen these? The other day I saw the No7 woman put one in a customer's bag when she bought something, but then I bought something and didn't get one (I specifically paid at the No7 counter for once to try and get one!) Do you think I should ask what they are when I use my £5 vouchers and try to blag one?
You probably have a minimum spend applying to them, in ours its free when you buy a mascara but they do scan at £0.00 without buying any No7.
As for asking... if you don't ask you don't get

Glitch on the FCUK free bag.
Fcuk is currently 342 (except sport) but it doesn't say excluding mini's on pos btw.
Today I got the voucher for bag on acm so off I went. 3 types of bag £10, £13 and £14.
Picked up 3 fcuk products along with bag but I will be returning 1 thing tomorrow because the Free bag is classed as one of your 342:RECEIPT SAYS3 FOR 2

So I spent £3.50 too much, you can actually get the bag and 2 items to go inside for £3.50, maybe possible to get it for £2.50 if they have any items at £2.50. HTH and you can understand my waffle:D
Hi everyone, I have just been into Coventry city centre this morning and managed to get the FCUK bag, a body spray and bodywash for £3.50 as mentioned above. The bag did not have a price on the shelf and I think there is only one other bag left. My card did not have the voucher in the ACM but OH's did, so I got it on his card. I also bought a No 7 face wash and used my voucher, so my £23.25 bill was reduced to just £5.25 and I got another No 7 voucher too.I did use a 75 points on a £10 spend voucher from the ACM too. I handed this over before the bag and No 7 voucher, but the points didn't go on. I realised after that the voucher was from my card, so I dont know if it didn't go on because it was a different card or because my final spend was less than the £10.
The were no MF boxes there but they did have the nail varnish sets, although the MF lady was hovering and I already have two of these so left them. I didn't notice if they had the smaller No 7 sample sizes. I forgot to look for them:hello: Danigrace :hello:0 -
is there anyway of getting coupons from acms should i phone up boots to ask why no points are being offered by the machines or is it specific on what my purchases have been
its sad that i'm only offered competitions0 -

Are you pressing the 'see all offers' button on the ACM or are you searching through all the different subsections? I don't know if it will make a difference but its worth a go.
The only way they can see what you are buying in order to tailor offers to suit your needs is if you use your card as much as possible when buying goods instore so make sure you always hand it over wherever possible. Then eventually you'll get offers galore.0 -

Ginjim, it might be worth applying for a "spare" Boots card in your other halfs name (even if you don't have a partner).
I have three at the moment, 1 is my daughters and has tons of offers on, and the other two are my own in my married name and maiden name. I get good offers on both of these but it took a while, I have had them for roughly 2 years now.
It can't hurt to have two cards to try and its easy to apply again online via this link Here
